About Dr. Bernardo Malaga

Dr. Bernardo Malaga is a dedicated primary care physician with over 25 years of experience in emergency and general medicine. His journey in medicine began with a deep fascination for biology, anatomy, and how the human body functions. This passion led him to earn his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico, followed by a rotating internship at Southern Medical Center/Tito Matei Hospital in Yauco, Puerto Rico.

He spent the first 20 years of his career serving as an emergency room physician in Puerto Rico, where he gained invaluable experience and earned the respect of both colleagues and patients. Eventually, he relocated to Florida, where he continues to provide compassionate, patient-focused care.

Dr. Malaga values the meaningful time he spends with patients, aiming to guide them through the complexities of health and well-being. He is especially committed to overcoming cultural and language barriers in healthcare. Fluent in Spanish, he works to ensure every patient feels heard and understood.
